Our Signature Sunrise tour is a once in a lifetime experience. Spend the day discovering the temples of Angkor, riding through the jungle and exploring hidden ruins on a unique adventure guided by our team of experienced, friendly and licensed guides.

Your tour begins with an early pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Angkor Wat in time for sunrise over the largest religious monument in the world. Your guide will help you find the best spot and guide you through this incredible temple.

After exploring Angkor Wat, your quality mountain bikes will be waiting for you and together with your guide you’ll ride through jungle trails away from the crowds to reach your breakfast spot for a simple breakfast of pastries, fruits, coffee or drink of choice. Continue your adventure as you explore temples including Ta Phrom (Tomb Raider) where nature and history infuse in spectacular fashion, Bayon with its 200 faces and the hidden ruins of Tanei. Ride the final leg towards the ancient  and picturesque Sra Srong where you’ll enjoy a 3 course meal before jumping into a tuk tuk for a breezy ride back to your hotel.

This is an accessible and carefully balanced tour of jungle riding and temple exploration aimed to provide our guests with the ultimate discovery of Angkor.

On our join-in tours we may combine multiple bookings although we will always keep group sizes small for the best experience. Join-in tours can be a great way to meet other travelers and save some money.

Booking a private tour guarantees only the people in your group will be on the tour. Private tours are a great way to keep your tour among friends or family and gives you the freedom to go at your own pace.

Itinerary

  • Hotel Pick-Up

    You will be picked up by one of our Tuk Tuk drivers for your complimentary transfer to Angkor Wat where your licensed English speaking guide will be waiting to greet you and take you to the best spot for sunrise over Angkor.

  • Explore Angkor and Start riding

    After exploring Angkor Wat with your guide your bikes will be ready waiting for you and after a safety briefing you’ll be on your way riding through jungle trails to breakfast.

  • Breakfast, Jungle and Temples

    After breakfast, follow your guide as you ride through the forest to reach Ta Phrom, Bayon and Tanei temples as well as discovering hidden ruins far from the crowds.

  • 3 course Lunch

    Enjoy a well deserved set menu Cambodian lunch in a restaurant by the picturesque Sra Srong ‘Royal bath’ reservoir before heading back to Siem Reap.

  • Hotel Drop off & Payment

    After lunch choose to cycle back to your hotel or sit in the breezy comfort of our Tuk Tuk. If you haven’t paid in advance, kindly pay the due amount to the tour guide in USD or Khmer Riel once you’re back at the hotel.

Our Mountain Bikes

When you book a tour with us you will be provided with quality mountain bikes. We primarily use original TREK and GIANT brand bikes on our tours. During the booking process we ask for your height, this is so we can prepare your bikes ahead of time. We also provide quality helmets and lights if riding in the dark.

    I loved the Angkor sunrise tour! Cycling is a great way to avoid the crowds going to Angkor Wat early morning and the cool breeze makes it a great way to wake up! My pick up was right on time and the bike that was provided, worked great. Va made sure we had the best spot to take pictures of sunrise and afterwards took us inside Angkor Wat to explain more about the history of Angkor. Another big plus with this tour is that you support local primary education. All in all was this an amazing tour that I highly recommend.

  • Amazing opportunity to explore the temples in peace

    I had already visited some of the temples, but decided to do the bike tour. Had a fantastic time with Seda, learning lots about Cambodia as well as Angkor! Good bike and great guide made for a wonderful trip. The highlight of my visit to Cambodia. We ended up doing a long ride, so it was hard work - I guess routes and duration can be tailored, Seda was very flexible to see places I was interested in.

  • We recommend light comfortable fitting clothing. Sunglasses are a good idea to prevent dust from getting in your eyes.

  • You don’t need to bring much with you. Sunscreen is recommended as is a camera or smartphone to take pictures.

  • Bookings can be made without advance payment for small to medium sized groups. For large bookings of more than 10 people please contact us by email.

    Bookings without advance payment are made in good faith and payment for our day tours can be made in cash after the tour has finished directly to the tour guide.

    Payments in cash can be made in United States Dollars, Cambodian Riel or a combination of the two.

    If you prefer to pay via bank transfer, please inform us in advance. However, additional charges may apply due to fees applied by the banks especially for international transfers.

    Regrettably we are currently unable to accept credit/debit cards at this time. We are looking to enable card payments in the future.

    Invoices are available for each tour, you can request an invoice in advance and it will be given to you by your guide.

  • Yes, we offer 50% discount for children under 14 accompanied by an adult.

  • Safety will always be our top priority. Our guides are trained to keep our guests as safe as possible at all times and each tour begins with a safety briefing. However, we do not provide insurance and expect our guests to have their own coverage in the unlikely event something happens.

  • Unfortunately not. As this tour starts in the early morning, you need to purchase your Angkor pass in advance. Temple passes can be purchased at the ticket office on road 60, ticket machines at Heritage Walk Mall or online from the official website.
